Toyota RAV4 hitch too low. How can I get more height?
I have an '06 RAV4, and I just installed a trailer hitch Hidden Hitch that I could use a 20×48 "carrier of freight for our summer holidays. But the scraper cargo carrier on the ground during safeguarding our driveway or pull in parking lots where there is a transition from the ground at a slope. Also, I picked up support cycling, and it also scratches on the ground, but not as bad as the transport of goods. I would say that the carrier has only about 6 "clearance when loaded with four beach chairs and a canvas duffel bag loaded with beach blankets, shoes, etc. (light load). Is there a adapter that I could use to get more height hitch? I saw these 4 "Hi-like low down they would work, but the description of their use does not resemble what I need. Suggestions? Thank you!
Get a traction bar high. I saw the other day at Walmart.
