How can you get rid of spiders in an apartment without insect repellent, which makes me sick at heart?
I live in San Francisco. What I found hanging on the ceiling of my bathroom afer my shower. I went out and looked back to see him crawling rather too fast around my toilet. Yuck!
I tend to let the spiders be until their bands become unsightly and then just clean around them … Not that I'm superstitious lot, but I was told at a young age that it is unlucky to kill a spider, and they eat other bugs that I prefer not around, so there is nothing for them to eat, they disappear after some time. But we have to worry about black widows where I am time time … if I find them outside away from home, they are fine, but if there is one at my work or my house is dead meat … If you can not smoosh because it is in a location inconvenient for Smooshing or for reasons of sentimentality you can not make yourself to smoosh, just spray SPRAY kill a spider. They do not die of poison bug spray … Hairspray works well, you not only stifle the spider, you also coat a fine layer of glue in a sense if it does kick around in agony and not worry, with WD-40. Some things work faster than others, I'm sure, but I promise you, real aerosol spray will kill a spider.
