any1 ever flown with children?
Im flying for the first time one month with a 3 year old and a 6 year old child. Im trying to understand how I'll take care of our luggage and keep up with the children in the rush to the airport. Im leaving for a weekend, how can i pack without a lot?
Pack lightly, as you can usually do laundry wherever you go, if necessary. With three small, it makes sense to spend few dollars more per bag and get a porter to take care of your luggage on the sidewalk. It really does not cost very much, and makes things so much sweeter for you … In addition, it gives a guy a job! Even if you have one big bag, make the guy a tip of $ 5 — For bags, bag 2/per $ is more or less standard. Believe me, it's so worth it! You almost want to kiss! Remember to bring suckers or gum for your children to take off — and nurse the baby or give him a bottle. Small children can get really annoyed by changes in altitude, and their ears may hurt a little. Nothing like a kid screaming in an airplane. When my children were small, we flew — I almost always had loads of snacks, coloring things, books, etc. There is often a chore that traveled with them, but if you make a lot things for fun it may be not so bad. I also tried to travel at night and kept them all — the day before, when they fall failed shortly after takeoff. Good luck!
