Passport – Water damage is minor?
I begin the process of renewing my passport, and I have some damage light water on it to jump in the pool with it in my pocket (stupid, I know). According to the website of the Department of State, I submit a renewal form by mail if the original passport is "in good condition and can be submitted with your application." The top photo is beautiful and legible but some pages are slightly wrinkled. He was in a leather stand type at the time, which allowed him to be completely damaged by water. If they replace your passport with a new, light water damage will not be a problem. If your passport extended for a further period, they will probably not want to do that if it appears less than perfect.
