Portfolio odor due to water damage?
My wallet was recently stolen and someone at my school was found in the boys lavatory. (The money was stolen) Now, it smells like fish! I'v washed with soap and let them dry overnight, but the smell remained. It's like a plastic bag with large change to the outside and a lining inside. It costed a lot and I love it and still really want to use. Please help! Thank you!
I do not think the smell is gone forever. You may be able to mask, but it will not disappear. Seems like time to invest in another portfolio. Buy one with the little string or a clip that hooks your pants (if it qualifies for school) – you will not lose this way.
