During these periods, the transport becomes more crowded, hotels tend to fill quickly and prices may rise, so youll have to plan before your trip and make more efforts to find a place to stay.
The proximity of the equator means that its temperature varies little throughout the year. However, the temperature changes with altitude, which creates various climatic zones ranging from hot lowlands to freezing Andean peaks, you can experience completely different weather in just a few hours of travel.
