Universal Orlando, Season pass holder cheap onsite hotel?

Does any one if you can just get the cheap annual pass to get the APH (annual pass holder) discount at the onsite hotels?

I had my seasonal pass to Universal since Jan and only received discounts for hotel stays once around Feb during slow season.
