A question on timeshare, just make the opinion of everyone.?
I have a timeshare located in Orlando, Florida, Bonnet Creek. It is a floating unit with Wyndham Resorts, so it is not really limited only to Orlando. You can use any of Wyndham's resorts, as well as their partner, RCI. Not only that, you can use at any time of year, long as you have the points. Now, I am willing to sell. I think it is fair to say, I will not half what I paid if I have to advertise for sale, so I have another idea …. type of risk, but what about now. My question is, how much interest you think I could get if I offered a kind of "lottery" for the timeshare. Say I offer a draw to like $ 25 or $ 50 per ticket and mass advertising it on the net, ebay, local flyers, etc. Do you guys think it would be a good idea or bad? How many People think that you HONESTLY want to buy a ticket?
I do not know if it is done with the timeshare but the houses have been sold as it both in the United Kingdom and Spain and perhaps elsewhere. At first, you must decide on either a draw date or leave it open to load on a number of ticket sales and make it clear that the money will be returned if a minimum number of tickets are not sold. Try to get a celebrity (Free) to make the draw. The draw must be done in public with the means to notify all holders of tickets with the result.
